Friday, October 27, 2006 ― Join Akron Public Schools friends and supporters at any of the following events the week of October 30, 2006. Representatives will be on hand with information and to answer questions about Issue 6, the district's 7.9-mill operating issue on the November 7 ballot.

Campaign volunteers will also canvas every neighborhood in the city with Issue 6 information. Volunteers will meet at schools in their ward at the start of each event before hitting the streets. The schedule is as follows:

Education Weekend
Churches throughout Akron will distribute literature to parishioners and remind people to vote.
